Digital Akron set to go

Cimg0257

I’m going for the comfy chair approach here.

I’m off to get the ice & otherwise everything is good to go!

4:00 at SageRock today, if you are interested.

The topic is: how to deal with Google’s Panda Update.

Plus free drinks & snacks!

I started blogging for adCenter I asked if my focus could be small-business. They were more than happy to oblige me in that.

I was really excited about that because small-business is something that is near and dear to my heart. Not only am I a small business owner myself, but I have a great deal of respect and admiration for small-business owners.

They have to do a Herculean amount of work to be successful. They also have to be alert and aggressive in keeping up with the global marketplace.

So most of my articles here will be geared towards these people.

Here’s my latest AdCenter blog post: Advice for Small Businesses in Today’s Economy: Just Do the Needful

I’m excited to say that we are now going to run Digital Akron by sponsorship. So that means good things for you.

First: the event is now totally free. So you don’t have to pay anything to come.

Second: you also get free beer, wine, pop and snacks.

How can you beat that? Oh, I know! The content is awesome.

This month’s topic is: “Dealing With Google’s Panda Update.”

The Google Panda Update is plaguing businesses of all sizes.

At the end of February approximately 12% of all web sites in Google were negatively effected by, what is now being called, The Panda Update.

We have been actively working with companies that are dealing with this. We have seen massive traffic decreases in Web sites that have been effected.

We’ll talk about how to know if you are effected and then what to do to get your site back into the favors of Google.

This event is being held in Akron at SageRock Headquarters at 15 Broad St., Akron, Ohio.

It is this Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM (ET).

There is a maximum of 20 seats available.

So not only do you get free access to the event you also get free wine, beer, pop and snacks!

This event is sponsored by The SageRock System.

My family nickname is “Sign Guy”. Today I feel like I’m living up to it.

I just put up a new offer for the four SEO certification classes:

  • Key Phrase Research Class – June 28, 2011
  • On-Site Search Engine Optimization Class – July 5, 2011
  • Link Building Class – July 12, 2011
  • Making The Most of Google Analytics Class – July 19, 2011

They would normally cost you $796 if you bought them individually. But buying them altogether here will cost you only $696. You save $100!

Plus this gives you the SEO Certification from Sage Lewis Training.

Search engine optimization is at the core of everything I do. It is the founding process at the heart of SageRock – my digital marketing agency.

Additionally, search engine optimization continues to get bigger and more complicated. What makes up a search engine optimization class today is wildly different than when I started training people on search engine optimization years ago.

For years, I have taught an in-depth search engine optimization course at Cleveland State University. The training that I offer here is twice as long and twice as in-depth. This is my dream training scenario to give you all the information I think you need to comprehensively understand the search engine optimization landscape today.

Here's a video I did talking about the new SageRock System offer I just made available:

I was asked if I would be willing to give a discount if someone wanted the SageRock System for the year. Heck yeah I would!

So, watch this video to see why I think you should consider this. Then give it some thought.
