Register for Digital Akron - Facebook Ads Suck in Akron, OH on Eventbrite

The first Digital Akron event held the last Thursday of June was a smashing success, I think.

Julie D’Aloiso gave a nice shout out about it on Twitter. She wrote:

“Digital Akron was fabulous last night! Great group of people! I am already looking forward to the next one.”

The only problem was people didn’t eat and drink enough. The food and beverages were sponsored by The SageRock System. They bought $125 worth of stuff and I’m pretty sure about $10 of it was actually consumed.

But there could be worse problems.

Digital Akron is held the last Thursday of every month. That means the July event will be held on July 28. They run from 4 PM to 5:30 PM.

These events are very casual and quite small. I don’t think we could do any more than 20 people. There were probably about 12 people in the room at the last event.

We pull out all the comfy chairs and couches and sit around in a circle eating and drinking and talking about the latest happenings in the Internet marketing world.

This month the topic will be “Facebook Ads Suck!”

At least that’s been my experience. I know that Julie has a different experience. And maybe you have your own experience about Facebook Ads.

Digital Akron events do not have some boring presenter standing in front of you telling you things you already know. These events are in the style of social media. Everyone has an opinion or at least has questions about these topics. The room of people become the presentation.

On top of that, the events are totally free. There is a maximum of 20 seats available. It’s on a first-come first-served basis.

And if that’s not good enough we have a sponsor for the event and they supply food and drinks.

Sponsor for the July event is SageRock Places – Websites with Benefits. It is a complete content management system run on the WordPress platform. This gives you the best content management system available with all of the latest and most useful plug-ins. But that’s not the real value of SageRock Places. The value comes in the fact that you are then led step-by-step and how to make your website successful for your business. Creating a website is just the beginning. SageRock Places shows you how to be successful with your website. There’s a free 30 day trial and then it is $19.95 a month. You can learn more here:

So if you would like to come to this event please register now. You can do that here:

Pease only register if you are quite sure you can come. We want to make sure that there is room for the people that can make the event.

Hopefully I’ll see you on July 28 at 4 PM.

Oh! The event is held at the SageRock headquarters. That is located at 15 Broad Street Akron, Ohio.

I was talking to Ron Finklestein at the last Digital Akron event.

We were talking about The SageRock System and he suggested that I try to come up with in $19.95 offering. He said that might be a good way to get people in the door to learn more about what I have to offer.

Ron is a very wise man and so I took his advice to heart.

One of the things that I understand deeply about business is that you must give people what they want. That sounds like an obvious statement. But I’m here to tell you that I’ve seen many business people, myself included, that don’t do this. We try to give people what we want them to have. Sometimes those things line up and sometimes they don’t.

As a business owner, this is something that I am continually trying to work on.

To that point I realized that what many small and midsize businesses need is fundamental help with their Web presence. The thing I see people buying continually is websites.

That is all well and good because, indeed, businesses need websites. However, the way this often works is that a person signs up for a free website or is sold a website by a web designer and then is sent off to fend for themselves on how to make that website successful.

This is actually the point at which the real work starts. People buy websites because they need them. But a website in and of itself is just a tool. A website is like any other tool. It’s like:

  • a wood lathe
  • a nail gun
  • a golf club
  • or a computer.

If you don’t know how to use it you can have the best one of those in the world and it won’t do you a darn bit of good.

But in the right hands, those tools become incredibly powerful. Websites are the exact same way. If you understand how to use them they can be incredibly powerful tools for your business.

With that in mind I have created something called SageRock Places. It is a complete and comprehensive content management system based on a WordPress framework. That means that you are getting the absolute best website management tool available today. It is incredibly easy to use and also incredibly powerful.

In addition to that I have completely customize the environment to give you the absolute best plug-ins and components for your website. Additionally, I can also add features and customizations that you need. All of the technical background is handled for you.

That’s all well and good but, in my mind, that’s not where the real value is.

The real value comes in the ongoing training and classes specifically for SageRock Places. You will not only learn how to use the tools effectively but you will learn how to create an incredibly powerful website.

SageRock Places is part of the overall SageRock System. The SageRock System is a comprehensive, all in one Web marketing program. It deals with the entire Web marketing environment. It also costs $199 a month which is possibly more than you might want to spend initially.

So I have spun off SageRock Places as an independent product. I am making it available to you for $19.95 a month. Plus, you can try it completely free for 30 days. You will get the complete WordPress content management system platform and access to all of the training and class material for SageRock Places.

I am making this as absolutely affordable as I possibly can while still giving you a comprehensive website platform.

I would love for you to try this and let me know what you think. You can cancel anytime you want and I’m going to do everything in my power to make this as valuable to you as I possibly can.

You can learn more about SageRock Places and how to register by going here:

I sincerely hope you find this useful in your Web marketing endeavors.

Sincerely,
Sage

P.S. Thanks Ron!
