GetListed.org “Local U” Coming to CLE
Local search experts David Mihm and Mike Blumenthal are bringing their GetListed.org’s Local University seminar to Cleveland on June 30. This is a no-sales-pitch seminar about LOCAL web marketing for NEO businesses, so bring some clients along for this educational opportunity.
They’re bringing in reps from the Google and Bing Local Listing Centers to share advice (and really, who better to get it from?!), as well as some national and local talent, too. Speakers include:
-Mike Blumenthal, Blumenthals
-Mary Bowling, seOverflow
-Anita Campbell, Small Business Trends
-Ryan Hayward, Google
-Geoff Karcher, The Karcher Group
-Matt McGee, smallbusinesssem.com
-Mikko Ollila, Bing
-Patrick Sexton, GetListed.org
-David Mihm, GetListed.org
-Brad Nellis, NEOSA
The focus of Local U. is to teach small businesses how to use the web to increase their online visibility and gain more customers. It’s an “intensive four-hour crash course in Internet marketing” designed to help small business owners develop great ideas for marketing their businesses on the web.
This seminar is traveling the country (it’s already received rave reviews in Spokane and Minneapolis), but is not being presented in too many locations, so we’re thrilled that it’s coming to our backyard (backyard might be a stretch, but it’s awfully close)!
Local U. will happen on June 30, 2010 at the Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County, featuring two identical half-day sessions (8am – noon and 1pm – 5pm).
Seating is limited, so register soon! The regular cost is $129.00, but use the code “tkg” and it drops the price to $79! Agency and group discounts are also available, starting at $57/ticket. The “more the merrier” saying really does apply here.
